More Arrests In India
(N Z PA.-Reuter—Copyright) NEW DELHI, August 27. About 1000 Communists were arrested throughout India today for picketing Government offices and stock exchanges in protest against rising food prices. More than 3700 Communists have now been arrested since Monday, when the Indian Communist Party launched a five-day, country-wide peace : ful demonstration against high food prices.
