(From Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON, Aug. 27. The Postmaster-General (Mr Scott) told Parliament today he would not be happy to see the 2Jd Christmas stamp overprinted. “l am considering alternatives and hope to announce a decision shortly.” Mr Scott had been asked by Mr N. J. King (Opp., Waitemata) if he would give favourable consideration to making special provision for use of the stamp to avoid the need for defacing it by overprinting.
