Church Sound Smashed
(N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, August 26. Vandals entered an Upper Hutt church last night and destroyed or stole a quantity of electrical equipment. Most of the public-address system in the church was damaged beyond repair, and, in addition, two microphones, a transformer, several amplifier tubes, and a length of wire, total value about £l2, was stolen.
