METHODIST BUDGET
Payments By Circuits Ten of the 15 Methodist circuits in North Canterbury paid their full allocation to the national connexional budget during the year ended June . 30, the district synod was told. . Two circuits—Leeston and Kaiapoi overpaid their quotes. Leeston contributed £llO2 instead of the £1092 asked, and Kaiapoi £877 instead of £852. The circuits paying their full amounts Were Durham street (£3864), Sydenham £912), Spreydon (£1104), Riccarton (£996), St. Albans (£32’40), Papanui (£1092), Springston (£720), and Rangiora (£1584). Circuits which did not meet their full allocation were: Central Mission (£387 paid, £129 short); Christchurch East (£3378 paid, £222 short): Wpolston-Lyttelton (£1270 paid, £254 short);'Greendale (£3BB paid, £152 short); and Oxford (£540 paid, £lBO short). Of the total budgeted amount of £22,356, only 4.1 per cent was unpaid. Of the previous year’s allocation, 3.1 per cent was unpaid. Some circuits hope eventually to pay their arrears.
