BOY’S DEATH IN HOSPITAL
Circumstances “Unfortunate”

INVERCARGILL, August 4. “Very unfortunate circumstances” resulted in the death of a five-months-old boy at Kew Hospital on Monday, Dr. Howard Hunter, medical superintendent at Kew, said today. Superintendent J. H. Alty said the police were investigating and there were no suspicious circumstances. Dr. Hunter said: “I am not in a position to release information on the circumstances of the death until an inquest is held.” He said it was the Coroner’s responsibility to give the verdict.
