Ball Survey Planned
(N.Z. Press' Association) ‘ WELLINGTON, July 20. Unions will be asked by the Rugby Football Union executive whether they are having trouble with footballs. Balls ‘‘were going at the seams and losing their shape within eight weeks,” said a letter from the Manawatu Union received today. The chairman. Mr T. C. Morrison, said: “We have had no complaints, but if unions are having trouble like Manawatu we could ask them and then ask the manufacturers to do something."
