SCHOOLS REPORT

Govt. Plans Action

(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 19. Recommendations in the report of the Education Districts Boundaries Commissioner (Mr G. N. Boulton) will be discussed with education boards, the Minister of Education (Mr Kinsella) said today. Mr Kinsella said the Government would consider the recommendations and decide on action. Before doing so he intended to discuss the recommendations in detail with all the education boards concerned. “The volume of evidence presented by Mr Boulton shows it would not only be unnecessary but futile for me to receive further representations from the individual school committees concerned. “The education boards will be well aware of the views of the school committees in their districts, and I am sure that when I have discussed the recommendations with the boards, the Government will be in a better position to decide on the proper course of action to be followed,” said the Minister.
