Constable At West Arm
(N.Z. Press Association) INVERGARGILL, July 20. A police constable has been appointed for the access tunnel drilling job at Lake Manapouri’s West Arm. Constable A. W. Boyd will arrive in Invercargill tomorrow from Whakatane. He is a single man who has been in the police force about 12 years. The police already have a representative on the hostel ship, Wanganella, at Deep Cove. There are no plans to appoint additional officers to the construction scenes.
