POLIOMYELITIS VACCINE
1322 Doses Given
More than 1300 persons received oral anti-poliomyelitis vaccine in city clinics of the Christchurch health office last week. Four hundred and five babies received first doses of vaccine at the open clinic on Tuesday, and nine other? at the appointment clinic on Thursday. Twenty-six adults received vaccine on Tuesday and 20 on Thursday, mostly first doses. Two hundred and ninetyseven babies, received second doses at the open clinic, and 11. at the appointment clinic. /Twelve received third doses at the open clinic, and 251 at the appointment clinic. The attendance at the open clinic was the biggest this year.
The next open clinic is in the Mass X-ray rooms in Manchester street on August 11.
