Alitalia May Ry To N.Z.

AUCKLAND, July 20. Alitalia, the Italian international airline, plans to fly into New Zealand when the international airport is opened at Mangere, according to its local manager (Mr Carlo Falci). He said today that Alitalia had recently begun a second weekly air service from Sydney to Rome and he would like to see the Sydney flights extended to New Zealand. The opening of such a service would encourage tourist traffic between the two countries.
