Aust. Wickets Fall Cheaply

Burge, with 40 runs in 45 minutes, held up the Australian innings as wickets fell cheaply on the second day of the match against Middlesex at Lord’s today. The openers, I. Redpath (10) and W. M. Lawry (16), were both back in the dressing room with only 39 runs on the board. The Victorian right hander, J. Potter, was next out lbw after taking 85 minutes to score 19. At lunch the Australians were three for 92, with Burge not out 44 and B. Booth not out 1. England's new test bowler, J.
