£8350 Refused For Land
Twenty acres of freehold land on the main Christ-church-Akaroa highway at Halswell was passed in at £8350 at public auction on Friday. The property was offered on account of the estate of P. J. Wall by the National Mortgage and Agency Company of New Zealand, Ltd. The auctioneer was Mr N. Aitken. The property has a frontage of 768 ft on the main road, and of 799 ft on Lansdowne Valley road. Improvements on toe property include an older-type house.
