U.S. Ruling On Reapplication (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, July 1. Persons who have lost United States nationality through continuous residence in a country outside the United States may now rpply to reacquire American citizenship. The American Embassy in Wellington said today a recent United States Supreme Court ruling made invalid a section of the Immigration and Nationality Act under which naturalised American citizens lost their nationality by being resident continuously for more than three years in their native country, or for five years in any other foreign country or countries.
