Appeal Decision Reserved
Mr Justice Wilson in the Supreme Court reserved his decision on an appeal by Kevin Ellis Twomey, a former customs officer, against his conviction and sentence on 15 charges of being knowingly concerned in the importation of uncustomed goods. Twomey was convicted and fined £375 in the Magistrate’s Court last March. Mr C. M. Roper appeared for the Crown, and Mr Roy Stacey, of Wellington, for Twomey.
