(a z. Frew Association) WANGANUI June 30. B. J. Langford was suspended from race riding up to 5 pjn. next Saturday at an inquiry after the Dr. Simmons Memorial at the Egmont - Wanganui Hunt meeting today. Langford, the rider of Acis, was charged with having caused interference to That’s That about three-quarters of a furlong after the start. After hearing evidence and a statement from Langford, the judicial committee found that the charge had been proved. Stitch was a late scrattiiing from this race. The ownertrainer, Mr W. D. Myers, telephoned the club and stated that toe horse was lame and suffering from a stone bruise and on that account had to withdraw. In the circumstances, the judicial committee decided to take no action.
