Parliament’s Diary
The Leader of the Opposition (Mr Nordmeyer) opened his party’s attack on the Budget last night. He spoke for an hour, and was followed by the Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake), who spoke for a similar time. The other speakers were: Opposition: Mr R. J. Tizard (Pakuranga). Government: The Un-der-Secretary for Industries and Commerce (Mr L. R. Adams-Schneider).
