N.Z. BODY PLANNED
Freezing Works Men Agree (N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 30. Representatives of New Zealand's 10 freezing workers’ unions agreed in principle today to form a national body. The secretary of the New Zealand Freezing Workers' Association, Mr F. E. McNulty, of Christchurch, said after the representatives meeting in Wellington that a sub-commitee had been set up to consider what type of organisation was best.
The alternatives were a national union of freezing workers or a federation of freezing workers’ unions. Today’s meeting was convened by NZ.F.W.A. which represents more than half of the 22,000 freezing workers in the country.
