CURRENT NOTES
Needlework Contest.—Miss Ailsa Stalker, a member of the Waihora Country Girls’ Club, won the prize for the most outstanding entry in the needlework contest held in association with the recent conference of the Federation of Country Giris’ Clubs in Hamilton. Entries came from most parts of New Zealand. Other members of clubs in the Christchurch, district also received places in the needlework contest and other federation competitions.
President Elected.—Mrs J. J. Cuddon was elected president of the Shirley-St. Albans Garden Club at the club’s recent annual meeting.
