As a prelude to the impending tour of South-east Asia, the New Zealand Badminton Federation is staging the Caltex invitation tournament at Waitara on July 10 and 11. The list of players who have accepted the invitation includes all the top players except J. E. Hobson. He is unavailable as he is overseas on a tennis tour. Invitations were Issued to:— Men.—B.
