Statement By Mr Neville
Mr R. C. Neville, of Christchurch, announced yesterday that he had withdrawn his name as a proposed director of Coast Concrete, Ltd. Mr Neville said that his interest in the development of the West Coast prompted him to assume directorial responsibilities in the new company.
He said that his attention had been drawn to the implication that his office as director might lead to the inference that other companies with which he is associated were committed to business relationships with Coast Concrete, Ltd. He had accordingly decided to withdraw his name as a proposed director, but at the same time wished it known that he had subscribed for shares in the company in which he would maintain his personal interest, he added.
