Threat To Deal With Communists

(N.Z P.A.-Reuter —Copyright?

PARIS, June 29.

Prince Norodom Sihanouk, the Cambodian head of state, has described American and British refusal to agree to an international conference on Indo-China as “suicidal” for their future role in the area.

Addressing a meeting of 500 Cambodian students arid officers last night, he predicted a “rapid decline” in the two Western powers’ influence in Indo-China and South-east Asia.

He warned that if the conference did not take place he would go to Hanoi or Peking to discuss the territorial integrity of Cambodia with North Vietnamese officials, the South Vietnam National Liberation Front and the Laotian Pathet Lao.

“I cannot wait until the Communists have won the war,” he said.
