Work Nearing Completion
Work on the extensions to the Waimairi County Council’s offices in Jeffreys road is well on the way and it is expected that they will be ready for occupation towards the end of next month.
Incorporated in the 3000 sq. ft. extension is a new council chamber which is considerably bigger than the existing one, and a large room for the' chairman. As well as toilet facilities,- there is one additional office.
The existing council chamber will be converted into additional office space for the council’s growing staff. The extension has been erected on concrete pillars at the reap of the original offices. Parking space is provided underneath.
