INTRUDER SURPRISED
(N.Z. Press. Association) AUCKLAND, June 29. • A night sister in a Mount Eden private hospital hit an intruder over the head with her torch when she disturbed him in a room in the building about 1.45 ajn. yesterday. The hospital authorities said today the man struck the sister in the face trying to escape, but she was not injured. Her retaliating blow probably hurt him more. A police search was unsuccessful. The man is suspected of another burglary near the hospital.
