Last Minute Changes
(N.Z. Press Association) HAMILTON; June 28. The disappointing display by the New Zealand Maori team against Waikato, when it was beaten 23-3 on Saturday, caused the selectors to make some hasty revision of earlier selections when choosing the team which will tour Fiji.
L. Haddon and J. Maniapoto. who played against Waikato, have been dropped, and the full back, J. Taitoko, was omitted for G. Waterreus.
Two Canterbury players—R Wainohu and W’aterreus—members of the Christchurch club, have been included in the team. Wainohu played for New Zealand Maoris last /ear. The team is:

Mohi (Bay of Plenty), J T. Porima (Waikato), W. R. Wordley (King Country), R. W. Wirepa. (Wellington). D. B. Clarke scored 20 of Waikato’s 23 points against the New Zealand Maoris at Hamilton. He kicked five penalty goals and scored a try and converted it. E. A. R. Pickering also scored a try. For the Maoris, M. A. Herewini kicked one penalty from numerous attempts.
