Ambulance Church Service
Members of the nursing and cadet divisions of the Lyttelton St. John Ambulance Brigade held their annual church parade at St. John’s Presbyterian Church, Lyttelton, last evening. The service was taken by the Rev. J. Tennent. Special visitors were Mr N. E. Kirk, M.P., and the assistant commissioner of the St. John Ambulance Brigade for Canterbury and the West Coast (Mr J. R. Begg), who was accompanied by district and corps officers. After the service, Superintendent J. R. Baines received a gift from his colleagues in the local division to mark his 25 years’ service in Lyttelton.
