IMPROVED SOUND SYSTEM FOR BEATLES The Beatles were reluctant to go on stage for their second Wellington Town Hall performance unless the sound system was altered and improved, A request was made for a Philips sound system in place of the equipment previously used. Certainly the Beatles are no strangers to the Philips system, having used it on many occasions in their overseas shows with great satisfaction to both performers and audiences. —Advt.
