Mines Council Chairman
(N.Z. Pret* Association) DUNEDIN, June 26. The chairman of the New Zealand Coal Mines' Council (Mr J. Hughes) died in Dunedin today, aged 77. He was appointed chairman of the Coal Mines’ Council in 1952. He is survived by his wife, two. daughters and two sons.
