Mr V. M. Bushby has been elected president of the Christchurch Lions Club, succeeding Mr N. D. P. Turner. Other officers elected were: —vice-presidents, Dr. W. R. Holmes and Messrs B. E. A. Williams and A. L. Malcolm; directors, Messrs H. V. Spicer, N. S. H. McCann, R. G., James, and K. H. Bartlett: tail-twister, Mr J. P. Perry; lion tamer, Mr S. E. F. Joblin; secretary, Mr L. A. Munroe: treasurer, Mr L. A. G.
