RESEARCH FUND
Dentists Give £28,000
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 28. The New Zealand Dental Association has raised £30,000 towards its target of £55,000 to establish a Dental Research Foundation in New Zealand. All but about £2OOO of the amount raised so far has been given by members of the profession itself. “This represents contributions from about half our members,” said a spokesman for the association in Auckland at the week-end. An appeal will be made to firms in the main centres for further contributions, while more gifts are • expected to come from the profession. The association is confident the target of £55,000 will be reached, and perhaps exceeded.
