Surrey Reach Semi-Finals (N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) LONDON, June 25. Surrey, Warwickshire, Lancashire and the holder, Sussex, entered the semi-finals of the English county one-day cricket competition yesterday. Results:—
At Northampton: Warwickshire beat Northamptonshire by 147 runs. Warwickshire 300 for eight (R. Barber 114, N. Horner 55; P. Watts four for 48), Northamptonshire 153 (R. Prldeaux 58 not out; K. Ibadulla five for 34).
At the Oval: Surrey beat Middlesex by 114 runs. Surrey 236 for eight (J. Edrich 70), Middlesex 122 (S. Storey five for 35).
At Manchester: Lancashire beat Glamorgan by six wickets. Glamorgan 220 for six <B. Hedges 55, P. Walker 62 not out), Lancashire 223 for four (G. Pullar 77, K. Grieves 62 not out).
At Taunton: Sussex beat Somerset by 16 runs. Sussex 141 <G. Cooper 58; G. Hall five for 34, F; Rumsey four for 19), Somerset 125 <R. Virgin 54; D. Bates four for 28).
