ORDEAL TOO MUCH
' (N.Z. Press Association) WANGANUI, June 18. One husband who attended the delivery of his wife’s baby at the Wanganui Maternity Hospital was sick on the floor and another fainted. At a Wanganui Hospital Board meeting today, the medical superintendent, Dr. W. J. Trezise, had been asked to comment on recent reports of husband’s being allowed in maternity hospital delivery rooms. He said it was allowed in Wanganui, if the patient’s doctor agreed. Few sought this' permission. Those who did were mostly Dutchmen.
