Donations To R.S.A. Fund
During the year donations had been made to the Returned Servicemen’s Association hospital comforts fund, and sick members had been visited at home and in hospital, it was reported at the annual meeting of the Gold Star Mothers’ Club, held recently. A new member was welcomed.
Competition winners were Mesdames G. Ridden and S. Joiner. Mrs H. Cooper entertained with recitations. Officers elected were:— patron, Mrs A. Blackmore; president, Mrs E. Paterson; vice-presidents, Mesdames V. Scott, L. McKenzie; secretary, Mrs E. Young; treasurer, Mrs M. Watson; committee, Mesdames E. Askew, G. Ridden, A. Rogers, M. G. Scott, J. Williams, L. MacKenzie.
