Cricket Broadcasts

■ Sir,—lf "Cricket Fan” wishes to hear the full broadcast of the cricket tests between Australia and England he has only to turn. round from 2YA and he will pick up numerous Australian stations. Nearly all of them give a full coverage of the tests, ball-by-ball commentary; and the reception is often better than that of 2YA. Many South Canterbury listeners could testify to this, having to put up with interference from Australian stations when listening to the ZBs. Even 3YA is not always free of interference down here. I was able to follow the first test quite easily without having to tune in to 2YA, or without switching over to short-wave —and this on a bedside radio without an aerial.—Yours, etc..

ANOTHER CRICKET FAN. June 18, 1964.
