Censorship
Sir,—Could someone in authority please explain why the Customs Department feels empowered, to take unilateral action against “The Group” when the Indecent Publication Tribunal was specifically designed to rule on reputable literary works? This action seems particularly strange since the novel has been on sale for some months now, and I obtained a copy from the Public Library.—Yours, etc.,
R. H. RICCALTON. June 18, 1964.
