STOLE £239 IN BAG
Mother Given Probation (N Z. Press Association) HASTINGS, May 28. A 35-year-old mother of seven children admitted stealing a bank bag containing £239 from a desk in Charles Begg, Ltd., Hastings, when she appeared before Mr W. A. Harlow, SAI., today. Patricia Anne Henderson was admitted to probation for two years and ordered to pay £49 10s restitution. Special conditions of her probation are that the family’s television set is to be returned to the dealers, and that her busband is to take over financial control of the house-keeping.
