Equipped With Triangles

A New Zealand oil company, B.P. (N.Z.), Ltd., has equipped its 225 company vehicles with road safety triangles. The triangles have a reflecting surface and are to warn approaching motorists when an accident has occurred or that a vehicle is stopped on the road ahead. They became available in New Zealand recently. The company is having special brackets built into its commercial vehicles so that should the driver be seriously hurt or unconscious after an accident, the triangle would be easily found by a person looking into the cab.
