A FAITHFUL DOG.—Emergency police manage to subdue the 70lb German shepherd dog, a companion of Mr R. Kraft, who is lying on the footpath after fainting near Bronx Park, New York. The dog refused to permit anyone near his master and had to be dragged off. Mr Kraft, who suffers from periodic fainting spells, was taken to hospital and discharged. Later, he and his dog were reunited at home.
