Wage Rise For Plasterers

An increase of 10s a week in the minimum wage rates for plasterers, fibrous plasterers and tile fixers in the Northern, Taranaki, Wellington, Marlborough and Nelson districts is provided in an award released this morning by the Court of Arbitration.
A new provision is January 2 as a paid holiday, or another day in lieu if it falls on other than a working day. The wage rates are . retrospective to April 23.
