BIG LOSS TO N.Z. GOLF
Miss Wickham Miss Una Wickham, the lowest handicapped woman golfer in New Zealand—she is now on plus one—will leave for Canada on Monday. A schoolteacher, Miss Wickham hopes to find a teaching job there but.first she wants to play in Canadian golf tournaments and also in. the American women’s amateur championship. Because of her trip, she is not available for the New Zealand women’s golf team which will compete at Paris.
On her form in the Russell Grace Cup tournament she would have been certain of selection. On Tuesday she beat Miss S. Grigg, a former New Zealand champion, 6 and 5.
