(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) ORANGE (Western New South Wales), May 27. The French Rugby League tourists lost their fifth successive match today. They were beaten 17-11 by Western Division in bitterly cold conditions.
France led, 8-5, at half-time after giving a bright attacking display. In the second half defensive lapses allowed the Western Division to take the initiative. R. Weir, B. Harvey and N. Brown scored tries for Western Division and K. Condon kicked four goals. N. Boule (2) and J. Etcheberry scored tries for France, and J. Villeneuve kicked a goal,
