Hippopotamus Reduced
(N.Z. Press Association) LONDON, May 27.
The national parks’ board officials at the Kruger National Park have begun killing 100 hippopotamuses in two rivers where there is “serious, over-population,” according to messages from Pretoria. Three companies are to process the meat to find out whether there is a market for it.
