More Migrants Needed

CANBERRA, May 26.
Australia would have to increase its population rapidly with greater migrant intakes if it were to continue its present economic growth, the Deputy Prime Minister (Mr J. McEwen), said yesterday. The lack of skilled manpower could not be allowed to inhibit the country’s development.
