Mr C. B. Bailey Recommended (Front' Our Own Reporter) WELLINGTON, May 26. Mr C. B. Bailey has been recommended by a special committee for appointment as manager of Bellamy’s—the catering department of. Parliament—and officer-in-charge of Parliament Buildings. Mr Bailey is a son of JWr A. Bailey, of St. Albans, formerly of Opawa. The Baileys are a pioneer Christchurch family. - . ’ , He has been second clerkassistant and reader of the House of Representatives for 10 years and for nine years before that was clerk of journals and records. , ' Mr Bailey was secretary to the New Zealand delegation to the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association . conference in Malaysia last year. Mr. Bailey has lived at Plimmerton for 25 years.
