In the Palmerston North Magistrate’s Court yesterday a local Chinese grower was prosecuted following the inspection of 41 cases of lettuce, all of which were topped in a manner to deceive buyers and the public. He was C. L. Wong, of 10 Sydney street, Palmerston North.
A fine of £lO was imposed by Mr D. G. Sinclair, S.M.
