Addington Practice
A number of horses engaged at the Canterbury Park Trotting club’s winter meeting next Saturday were given practice behind the starting gate at Addington Raceway yesterday W The iforses were able to work next to the rails on a track which provided- splendid footing., - A number of two-year-Old trotters down to contest a nontotallsator event next Saturday attracted considerable attention. Among those to show to advantage were a filly by Light Brigade from Circiette, a gelding by Light Brigade from Reflective, a filly by Smokey Hanover from Anttra, and a Court Martial youngster in W. E. Taylor’s team. Robert Medoro, Flaming Way »nd Harbour Light were three top-class trotters to revel in their' work after beginning well .from behind the starting gate. Flak, Garcon d’Qr, Rannack Song, Lord' Mina, Pancho Boy and Soanfra were pacers to show to advantage. Others, to. complete sound tasks included Little Smoke! AU Bey, Antonlus and Highland Globe.
