Two Canadian horses will complete the 50,000 dollar race field.

Cardigan Bay should draw the most attention in the mile and a half test, the first crown in Yonkers’ 165,000dollar three-race series. The eight-year-pld son of

Hal Tryax is considered the greatest pacer in New Zealand and Australian history. He was bought in February for 100,000 dollars by a syndicate including, the drivertrainer, S. Dancer. The other New Zealand horse, Great Credit, is a seven-year-old gelding by Light Brigade. Great Credit will be driven by C. Berkett, of New Zealand. Both New Zealanders made their American debuts at Yonkers last Thursday, going off as odds-on favourites. Cardigan Bay won handsomely, but Great Credit finished fifth.

The United States will have solid representation in the International, headed by L. J. Buck’s Overtrick. The four-year-old set a world mile record of Imin 57 l-ssec over a half-mile track in the first heat of the Little Brown Jug last September, and earlier this.year he captured the rich Realisation Stakes. The two Canadian entries are Country. Don,- winner of the 15 races as a three-year-old in 1963, and Adios Mir, a five-year-old who raced last year under the name of Meadow Newport.

; The other United States starters will be selected by Yonkers racing secretary, E. Gibbons, and will come from among Meadow Skipper, Henry T. Adios, Adora’s Dream, Rusty Range, Irving Paul, Cold Front, and Mr Budlohg.
