COSTS OF C.0.R.S.0.

8d In £ For Administration (N-Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 15. According to the national secretary of C.0.R.5.0. (the Rev. H. C. Dixon) a rumour has gone round New Zealand in recent weeks that twothirds of the money given to C.0.R.5.0. is spent on administration expenses. He said today that this was entirely false. “Our books are under Government audit, and our last balance-sheet—sent to every newspaper and local body in the country—showed our administration costs were under 3 per cent. “The auditor signed our 1963 accounts today, and our combined administration and publicity costs are just under 8d in the £.

“This is made possible by the careful scrutiny of all expenditure, but principally by the immense amount of voluntary service generously given to C.0.R.5.0. by thousands’ of New Zealanders throughout the country.”
