THREE DIE ON ROADS
Victims All Pedestrians
Three pedestrians died and a fourth was badly hurt in road accidents at the weekend, according to the Press Association. A man was killed when he was struck by a car in Leslie street, Waitara, late on Saturday night. He was Harimate Ngatai, aged 60, a labourer, of 58. Leslie street, Waitara.

Ng You Wall, aged 82, a retired fruiterer, who lived with his son in Adelaide road, Wellington.
A pedestrian was seriously Injured when she was knocked down by a car in Wellington at 6 p.m. on Saturday. She is Mrs M. Stent, of Rosina terrace, Wellington. She received a fractured skull, severe lacerations, concussion, shock, leg injuries and internal injuries. Her condition is serious.
