Want Voting At Age 18
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 15. The New Zealand Youth Forum will recommend to the Government that the voting age be lowered to 18 years. It will also recommend to the Minister of Justice (Mr Hanan) that a system of youth panels and juries be established to work with,magistrates and judges to help advise on youth crime and its punishment, and to promote a personal follow-up by young people in respect of crime amongst youth.
To Sail Monday.—The coastal vessel Onehunga, which is having two forward starboard plates renewed at Lyttelton, is expected to sail for Onehunga on Monday .
