(JILZ. Pre» Am. —Copyright) HOBART, May 15. An Australian rules football match has caused the postponement for a day of the opening of Tasmania’s thirty-fourth Parliament The Tasmanian Premier. Mr E. Reece, said Parliament would not be opened until June 25—a day later than the date he had announced. Mr Reece said it had been decided to put back the opening of Parliament by a day because it clashed with the interstate football match between Tasmania and Western Australia.
He said many people would want to attend the match as well as the opening of Parliament and the one-day delay would not cause any inconvenience.
